Byron, it was good to hear from you yesterday. Glad you enjoyed the cruise. I'll see you on NYEve to ring in '09.

Pat thank you for looking at the positive from this year, that is the right way to look at things!

And I will see you in the AM ready for the CFED detox!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Xmas. I enjoyed myself and now am in need of a little CFED detox starting tomorrow. I am off too enjoy the sunshine at stone mountain this PM. I made the executive decision to work "halfdays" everyday this week instead of 3 full days and 2 days off in order to have a little time for me everyday so Hopefully I'll see you all at the gym one afternoon.

I love the list today! Gratitude cures the attitude everytime! I am looking forward to the New Year's celebration where we can celebrate a number of these things worth remembering from 2008 and ring in the hopes and dreams for 2009! Hope to see everyone there!

I made it back to Savannah today, but had no power at my office. We had three underground electrical transformers explode downtown, blowing manhole covers off and shattering a few windows. Flames were coming up from the manholes downtown as much as 10 feet high! It knocked out most of the power downtown. This event is the second time this has happened downtown in a few months. Georgia Power hoped to have power restored by 8 p.m. or so tonight. I hope they do. I need to work tomorrow. Then, we had a gas leak downtown which caused the evacuation of several blocks, followed by a fuel truck spilling 4 inches of diesel fuel in the new underground parking garage. It was not a good day in Savannah. I hope no one fires up a cigarette downtown or the entire city may explode! :-)

Byron, glad you made it safely home and avoided injury in yesterday's mess in Savannah. When are you coming to Atlanta?

We have power back at the office today. I am working on getting caught up. Disbursements are due out tomorrow so we are working diligently to assure we can get them done. I plan to head back up to Atlanta this evening to be there tomorrow.
