A Hilda Halloween

To keep Halloween from being so stupid this year (that's a reference to Shana's comment earlier in the week), I thought we might check in with Hilda to see how she is spending the holiday. It probably won't surprise you to hear that she was spotted in the pumpkin patch yesterday in her bikini top and short-shorts selecting the perfect pumpkin. (That girl on the affiliate blog earlier this week who was squat cleaning a pumpkin has nothing on Hilda!)

As you may recall, it was quite cold yesterday--not a good day for gathering pumpkins in your bikini. So, after carving her jack-o-lantern, Hilda took a long hot bath to soothe her aching muscles and ward off the possibility of catching cold.

After a long soak in the tub, Hilda got comfy in her red long johns and settled in by the fire for an evening of ghost stories.

It's clear that Hilda knows how to have fun and entertain herself any day of the year, but especially on Halloween. You've got to love Hilda.

A great collection of Hilda pics this AM! The best part to me is how comfortable she seems in her skin. I'm with Pat C in the fact that I don't always like to take a lull b/c it is when I'm not being productive and getting stuff done that I tend to not treat myself well and it is worse if I am overtired/stressed. I've seen some improvement of late. Thanks for organizing the blog Pat C it has definitely helped to hear how others handle things. Now off for Angie!

But more importantly... how was NKOTB?

NKOTB was fun! Great people watching. The crowd was 95% white women between the ages of 28-45 I think. Pretty amusing. I did not get home until 1 this morning, so I am so tired and just want to go back to bed!!

Quiet blog today. CFED blog is quiet too. Melissa is swamped with work. Miki too?

PS - I love Hilda today! It was so nice to see her getting in the fall spirit. I sure wish I had some jammies like hers.

Gnomes, maybe Santa will bring you some. It's pretty hard to find low-cut, red long johns.

AUGH... internet troubles. Again. I'm so bummed about my arm and almost catching a cold and not having worked out since Sunday!!! Harumph!

I hate it!! REEEEEALLY hate it.

Jonathan has commanded me to dress up for his show in Candler Park tomorrow night which is the best way to get me to NOT do something.

I maintain; Halloween is stupid. I'd rather pick pumpkins and soak in a hot bath. I read stories every day so I got that part covered.

But do you have red long johns?

Shana A. said...

I used to have some...

Shana Miki sorry to here about you alls aches and pains, I completely understand, it stinks!!!! I myself have just been a little bit of a funk, it might be a cold and hormonal thing combined. Sorry if TMI! But sometimes reminding myself of what goes on with my crazy body will make me feel better, and I know "this too shall pass!"
I am more excited than anything to not be dressing up this year it has been a while with both Eric and i having been in school there are always Halloween parties, I pray he doesn't come home 2morrow with some last minute idea, not gonna fly this year!
PS Hated missing Angie but knew I would be late with traffic and just not in the mood to deal with it all, hopefully 2morrow morn I can make it up....

I love Hilda! I especially love her picking out Halloween pumpkins in her bikini top and shorts! She must live in Savannah! :-)

The ghost story tours are in full swing in the historic district! Hilda would look terrific riding in one of the convertible hearses in her red long johns as the guide tells the stories! One of my favorite Halloween things to do in Atlanta was the Tour of Southern Ghosts at Stone Mountain. No costume or eating required!
